More Shiny Floors and Girl Fronts, Sort of...

The little game of sliding puppies on the floor and taking photos of fronts on the move worked really well with the two boys. I decided to try it with the girls last night. OK, so they are about 10 days younger than the boys were, but they tried their best.

It was a challenge, to say the least, because instead of 2 puppies, I was wrangling 6. And anyone who has ever been around a litter knows that the minute you sit down on the floor, you are instantly covered in puppies.

During the process, we had a little galloping because the slide the puppy game was so much fun, Brindle Girl 1 had to charge back at a full gallop...
And we had a little playing and tail-tugging because the puppies have the attention span of a gnat!
And we had some really *fast* puppies, I couldn't even get the camera ready before the puppy would be back for more!

But, all in all, even with the outtakes, I was able to get SOME semblance of front photos of all four girls, even if they were not exactly as cooperative as the boys. And once again, I'm really, really pleased with how the girls are growing on. :-)

Brindle Girl 1. She was on a mission, this girl!
Brindle Girl 2. She was so funny, she loved to slide, but then she would sit and look at me for a second, then jump up and gallop back. So, a sitting front is as good as it got with this little girl! Red Girl 1. Not a great shot, but she was another puppy with a purpose. There was no time to get anything set, once she was done sliding, she was back in my lap before I knew it!

Brindle Girl 2. "Annie" the only puppy with a real name. She is such a good girl, she tried her best to do what I asked. She just runs so fast!

Oh my gosh those beautiful babies are getting soooo big. You did a great job taking pictures. Its amazing how many pictures you have to take just to get 3 or 4 good ones. Puppies are soooooo FAST on their feet.

Thanks. I wanted more than one in a series to see foot placement. But yes, hundreds of photos to get a few that are usable. The girls are really getting personalities now, and it makes them so much more fun.

Everyone loves Annie. :-) There's just something about her. She has been the first of the girls to do about everything, and has always been more in line with her 12 day older boy cousins in terms of physical ability and thinking. Whoever becomes her family had better be ready for a smart, smart puppy!
