Boyz Night!

The girls wouldn't cooperate for photos tonight, so Thursday night is boys night in the baby box! Love my boys! And those faces. :-) I think Big Red is laughing.

Bird's Eye View

They grow in the blink of an eye. The brindle dog (referred to as Double Whopper with Cheese) is almost 2 pounds, and the littlest girl is hanging in there and gains slowly but steadily. She's 18 oz now, and the others are somewhere in between. Overhead photos show how fast they have expanded to take up most of their puppy box!

Photos start June 9 and go through today, June 17.

Hey, I'm Talking to YOU!

What's going on back there? Are those puppies getting milk and cookies? Why can't I come closer and see what's happening?

I'm calling my lawyer. This is clearly a case of Biscrimination.

Happy Little(r) Family

Sydney's little family is still doing well, although it's a little bit smaller. Two puppies were lost in the first 24 hours. A very sad time for us. :-( The little girl who was a bit cyanotic and had labored breathing right from the start, and unexpectedly, the tiny little red dog. The little girl was a fighter, and I thought she was improving a bit, but obviously not. The little red dog seemed OK but small and more alien than dog-looking. But he just slipped away from one minute to the next, and he didn't want to come back.

So the family stands at five babies, 3 girls, 2 boys. One of the girls is not as vigorous as the rest, but she is growing and I hope for the best. Syd continues to be a good mother, although I am supplementing because she doesn't produce a ton of milk, and she was very calcium depleted.

A proud Mama Syd with her babies.

Siblings hanging out together on the heating pad (Friday).

Snoozing together in the soft bed (not the Brindle Boy, no pink bed for him, thankyouverymuch) (Saturday)

The family taking a little siesta.

Always available for comic relief.

Maybe some little boys shouldn't overdo it at the breakfast buffet (Sunday).
