Swimming Lessons and Educational Video
Syd is so excited that her puppies can play with her and run around the yard. Too bad that at 6:30 in the morning, it's already 85 degrees. :-(
Of course, Momma Syd has to lay down the ground rules for pool safety. No swimming without an adult to supervise, no diving head first.
Oh, and for sure, Rule #1, according to Sydney?
THE POOL IS MINE!
For additional information and an educational video on this Very Important rule, please refer to the following documentary captured during Vallhund baby Frankie's visit a few years ago...

First Swedish Lesson
Hawk conducted the first group Swedish lesson for the puppies. He starts with the basics, like numbers and alphabet. It's very important that the puppies learn as much as they can about other cultures, and become multi-lingual. He was very patient, considering the brindle boy kept grabbing his legs.
Darby prefers to be the recess monitor. She never was much on formal education...Something tells me that Savannah (Weimaraner) is *not* going to be interested in teaching the puppies German.

Bird's Eye View
They grow in the blink of an eye. The brindle dog (referred to as Double Whopper with Cheese) is almost 2 pounds, and the littlest girl is hanging in there and gains slowly but steadily. She's 18 oz now, and the others are somewhere in between. Overhead photos show how fast they have expanded to take up most of their puppy box!
