While we waited in the exam room for tonight's check up, I heard Dr. Becker say to the techs that it was time to go see his most popular client, the one who just can't stay away for more than a day. :-) And after he examined the little man, he looked at me and told me that THIS is the reason he loves coming to work, and that he never would have dreamed the puppy would ever look this good. Today has been a week since the first vet visit, and we've gone twice a day for 3 days, then once a day since (even Sunday). The difference in a week, even since Sunday night when the little guy was not doing well, is amazing. Every day Dr. B and Dr. W caution me that things could change, but today Dr. B feels very hopeful, so I will too! Tonight we did only an antibiotic injection, and the puppy is growing, developing mentally, and appears bright and happy. Yesterday the little guy learned to lap up some milk, and tonight he and brother got to eat a puppy mush snack.
I promise I'm taking new pix of Breezy's girls tomorrow. No eyes open yet, tomorrow they'll be two weeks old, but they are more difficult and "lively" for trying to photograph than the two boys. :-)
And just forewarning so you can try to be ready for the next post. It'll be available after Blogger takes the necessary 22 hours 17 minutes to upload a 12 second video clip ;-P. The cute may be overwhelming, so I really am not sure that anyone can really be prepared.
Stay tuned, and while you wait, enjoy the tickle session with Mr. Red, who is almost too cute for words:

That MUST be his cutest client ever.
WOW!!! He looks wonderful. It amazes me what the Power of Love can do....I dont believe its all about the meds. It is all about the love and care he got from you, the vets and Syd. WTG!!! Team.
Glad that the brindle boy is doing so well. Finger and toes crossed with lots of prays.
Awesome news!! They are both adorable!! :)
