Resistance Was Futile...

There was no denying Annie, and now she's off in her green Sherpa bag, flying back to Dallas this afternoon with her new family. I'm certain that her time on the plane will be spent plotting out her plan for world Dachshund domination. I'm not sure Texas is ready for Miss Annie!
We'll miss you Annie, but I know we'll see lots of you in the years to come. And thank you, Courtney and Adam, I know that without a doubt, Annie is a really lucky girl.

I wouldn't be able to part with any of them. I'm glad they're all getting good homes!

Awww. Annie will be missed in Missouri, but she will be loved down in Texas. She's so adorable. Have fun Annie!! Love, Auntie Laura

PUPDATE! I just heard from Courtney that Annie did great on the trip, slept through the flight, and has already displayed some really good OUTDOOR pottying. Good girl, Annie! And I understand that she's being very appropriate with her new dachshund brothers, even though one of the boys would probably prefer she hop back into the sherpa she climbed out of! But I feel confident that the little miss will win him over with time. :-) Sleep well, Annie, we miss you already!

Are you sure you didn't let her watch "Annie Get Your Gun"? I can see her now with a little cowgirl hat and rope saying to those dachsie brothers of hers, "get along little doggies!"

And I can here Annie tell those wiener dogs: "Anything you can do, I can better!"
