An AKC Breeder of Merit
The Breeder of Merit Program honors breeder/exhibitors' dedication and hard work as they continue to produce dogs that are healthy, capable, and beautiful.
AKC Breeder of Merit Requirements:
-->Has a history of at least 5 years involvement with AKC events.
-->Earned at least 4 Conformation, Performance or Companion event titles on dogs they bred/co-bred.
-->Member of an AKC club.
-->Certifies that applicable health screens are performed on your breeding stock as recommended by the Parent Club.
-->Demonstrates a commitment to ensuring 100% of the puppies produced are AKC registered.

now the red princess has her very own crown! Do the others leave it alone?

Yes, I'm having fun with the puppies, and it's hard to resist them when they are so cute. :-)
Garrett, no more crown. You probably noticed in the last photo that it's just two ears taped. The crown lasted about 10 minutes before the tape just came unstuck on its own. Believe it or not, there was no puppy involvement!
I spritzed Bitter Apple liberally on the ear tips, and ALL puppies are taped (well, they were when I looked in on them an hour ago!), so we'll see how long it lasts.
Melisse, I think she thinks she's a diva for sure. :-) She sure knows how to put on a face.
Such a pretty, pretty princess crown! She looks so naughty!
Oh, Norma Jean. She's the most beautiful thing and I can say that she was beautiful from birth. She's just getting prettier as she grows. Send her and Biscuit to Sullivan. :-)
